Center for People Development

The Center for People Development (CPD) was created to provide each team member with a strong foundation upon which to grow and to be the best that he or she can be. Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute fosters synergy through the "reach one, teach one" principle. The Leadership Institute empowers individuals to validate and encourage development - not only in themselves, but in others as well, with each one gaining strength through higher levels of personal growth and achievement.

Foundations of Leadership
The goal of the Foundations of Leadership is to develop leaders who clearly understand and demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Synovus Leadership Expectations. These programs promote self-assessment, exposure to other leaders and developmental feedback.

Learning Management System

 is the Synovus online Learning Management System that promotes learning by increasing accessibility and flexibility. iLearn offers online registration and a comprehensive course catalog allowing team members to maximize and manage their time while gaining access to training and development classes for their personal and professional development.

Performance and Development
RIGHT STEPS is the Synovus performance and development process that connects corporate goals with team members' individual goals. This enables team members to understand how their responsibilities help the company meet annual goals. RIGHT STEPS is a continuous three-step cycle where team members and their supervisors work together to define, discuss, agree upon and adjust individual goals and work together to ensure success.
